Again, a quote as opening statement of the Newsletter June ’24, this time from Mark Twain, I promise in the next newsletter I will be more inventive, but it is my hope for a sunny summer that reminded me of this saying. We are looking back on May and June and looking forward to all the things we can do in the summer time. I hope we can say in the coming weeks ‘Summer is the time when it is too hot to do the job that it was too cold to do last winter.’

The latest mood board concerns a modern building with garden and patio in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. The description of Style, Space, Key Elements, Color Palette and Material Overview generated my first AI picture of the room. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised and it is a frequently viewed pin, especially on Pinterest.

This is a wonderful time for weekend tips, like visiting a guided tour at Ceramic Studio Cor Unum in Den Bosch or Art Laren. This latest tip was for mid-June; to make it easier, we added a Weekend tips Calendar.
All shades of green
Summer means work to do in the garden. Start with trimming the hedges before the longest day (or just a little bit later if you are reading it just now 😉) And if you look at instagram you can see in a video who is my personal assistant on a Saturday.

What Camera do you use?
The SLR (single lens reflect) Camera is a Canon EOS 750D. A SLR camera because I view through the lens and see exactly what is captured. I often use the iPhone in addition, when I am out without a camera, but also to be able to quickly make a video without having to find the camera first.
