A New Look
Back in June, you might remember I sent out a little note. I made a mistake by uploading demo texts (quite a lot 😉) . I also made a promise: something new was coming soon 🌿 Well, the wait is over. The fresh look of Woonlookbook is here!
For our new readers: I started the site about 5 years ago after I left my KPN corporate job.
To be honest, the old Woonlookbook was still working fine. Maybe you didn’t get bored of it at all. However, I did. I felt it had become too quiet. It was almost like a room where the furniture hasn’t been moved in years. Comfortable, yes, but not very inspiring anymore. So I decided it was time to freshen things up, to bring in some new light and movement.
What’s New
Over the past weeks, I’ve worked on giving the site a makeover. I’m so happy to finally show it to you. What’s new?
- A clearer, calmer design – still soft and welcoming, but with a bit more energy.
- Featured images with titles – so when you browse, you can instantly see what each post is about.
- Videos in posts – something I can now add when a story needs a little extra atmosphere.
- Different reading lengths – most articles are still a cozy 4–7 minute read, perfect with your morning coffee. But I’m also introducing short stories: quick 1–2 minute reads for when you just want a spark of inspiration.
I hope this new setup makes it easier and more enjoyable for you to wander around Woonlookbook.
