Last year I wrote a post about a perennial garden inspired by Piet Oudolf. In my garden this meant quite some blue and purple perennials. An update in photos.

Stachys Hummelo
Stachys Hummelo,

Stachys monnieri Hummelo is named after the hometown of Piet Oudolf.

Stachys mnonieri ‘Hummelo’ combines well with other perennials such as Echinacea (coneflower), Phlox (flame flower), Monarda (bergamot plant) and Geranium (cranesbill).
